Responsibilities:
  • Support the team with daily workflows in our tool, Moss, including the coding of invoices, verifying credit card transactions, and reviewing employee expense claims.
  • Assist the finance team during our transition from legacy systems into our new ERP system over the coming year.
  • Take ownership and support of foundational finance projects, such as drafting internal company policies like travel guidelines and implementing new workflows.
  • Eyes open on potentials for optimization to discuss with the team.
  • Act as a reliable backup support for the team during busy periods and vacation cycles to keep our approval flows running smoothly.
  • Ensure a high level of exactness and commitment to numerical precision across all financial trackers and documentation.

Your profile

  • A strong affinity for numbers, accurate working habits, and a commitment to maintaining exact financial data.
  • Solid baseline skills in MS Excel, with a strong curiosity or existing familiarity with modern finance or AI tools to help automate workflows considered a major plus.
  • Fluency in English is required, and German language skills at a B1 or B2 level are a strong asset to effectively collaborate across the team.
  • Ability to work up to 20 hours per week, with a mandatory minimum commitment of 12 months to the role.
  • Hybrid setup with 2 days a week in the office, with candidates based in or near the Ulm region highly preferred to facilitate hands-on onboarding and training.
