We are seeking a Project Manager (m/f/d) with a technical background in chemistry, pharmaceutical development or analytical science to manage complex projects within our clinical programme.You will coordinate complex technical projects across internal teams and external partners, with responsibility for timelines, dependencies, risks and delivery against agreed quality standards. Your responsibilities shall include but may not be limited to the following:
Project Management: Manage complex, cross-functional projects across pharmaceutical development, analytical testing, and process scale-up. Take a hands-on approach and directly support the delivery of work packages when required.
Timeline & Milestone Management: Develop, track, and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring CMC analytical and non-clinical milestones are delivered on time and within budget.
Technical Coordination: Facilitate communication between scientific teams, regulatory affairs, and external stakeholders, translating technical discussions and challenges into actions, decisions and project plans whilst fostering sustainable relationships.
Risk Management: Proactively identify technical, regulatory, operational and logistical risks. Work with project leads and subject matter experts to define and implement mitigations, and escalate significant issues where required.
Process Excellence: Support the Head of Program Management in establishing and maintaining a robust PM culture.
Your profile
Academic degree (e.g., MSc, Ph.D.) in chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, analytical chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
> 3 years experience in the development of pharmaceutical products, process development, or analytical services within international cross-functional organizations.
Solid understanding of working within a highly regulated and/or safety-critical environment (e.g. GMP requirements).
> 2 years experience in project management, comfortably managing internal and external stakeholders, driving multiple competing priorities, escalating risks, and facilitating decision-making through facts and figures.
Comfortable with a range of project management methodologies (sequential/ waterfall, agile etc.)
Proactive, highly structured, and well-organized approach to complex project landscapes.
Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
Fluent English skills, fluent German skills are a plus
